The teasing almost had us at our wit’s end. Target had announced an exclusive Phillip Lim designer collaboration in May, and the major brand has been building up the anticipation like none other. But at last, it has arrived: the long-awaited lookbook. Just glancing at the outfits, t’s everything we’ve been longing for and more. If you’ve been looking at the leaked ads and Instagram preview photos from StyleCaster as often as we have, you’d been longing for the collection as much as we were.
The lookbook features outfits for both men and women for Morning, Noon and Night, and boy, is it a doozy – it features more than 100 pieces. Filled with work-appropriate tanks, trousers, sweaters and dresses covering the classic fall color palette of neutral tones and prints, it’s really the working woman’s (and man’s) fall collection. Did we mention that there are at least a dozen beautifully designed handbags in the collection? The designer’s trademark Pashli satchels have left us thoroughly impressed.

Be on the lookout at your local Target – this collection is looking to arrive on September 15. And with reasonable prices that are appropriate for a Target designer collaboration – $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories – Target is achieving exactly what we love about fashion innovation: making fashion accessible.
There goes our savings for the month of September.
